VladBot-ec is operated by Mark J. Gardner <mjg@netaxs.com>,
who goes by the nickname of Gardner on IRC. If there
are any problems, he's the one to talk to.
VladBot-ec was created for two purposes -- to provide information
about Ayn Rand's philosophy of Objectivism to users on IRC, and
to host and administrate the \#AynRand channel. The first
part is being worked on constantly, and you can type
/msg VladBot-ec files to get a list of text files available. The
second part largely consists of keeping the channel in existence
and giving operator status to trusted individuals.
The \#AynRand channel itself was created to provide an electronic
forum for discussion of Objectivism. For more information about
Objectivism, type /msg VladBot-ec help objectivism. To learn
about file transfer first (and you *really* should!), type
/msg VladBot-ec help filetransfer.
VladBot-ec is based on VladBot-2.1e, a C-bot written by VladDrac
(irvdwijk@cs.vu.nl) who has had lots of help from Richie_B
(richie@morra.et.tudelft.nl)
